Tab key navigation

Accessibility for motor impairment

With tab key navigation it is not necessary to use a mouse to move through our website. Most browsers support this feature. Here is how it works:

• Pressing the tab key moves from one link to another: navigation links, links in the web pages, and form fields (e.g. Contact Us form fields and submit button)
• Pressing shift + tab moves in reverse
• Pressing enter clicks a link and activates a button, such as submitting a form

Browser variations

Safari

• Select Safari Preferences, select Advanced
• Place a tick in the box for: Press tab to highlight each item on a page

Opera

• A key moves forwards
• Q key moves in reverse
